Horseback experiences policies

Cancellations

We set horses, staff, and tack based on your booking, so we ask for solid commitment.

  • Cancellations must be made at least 72 hours before your scheduled ride.
  • Cancellations within 72 hours of ride time are non-refundable.
  • No-shows or late arrivals forfeit the booking.


Rescheduling

Life happens — we understand.

  • You may reschedule your ride once at no charge if you notify us more than 24 hours before your scheduled ride.
  • Reschedule requests made within 24 hours of ride time cannot be accommodated.
  • Missing your rescheduled ride results in forfeiture of the booking.


Weather

We ride in a wide range of Texas weather — sunshine, wind, light rain, and heat are all part of the ranch experience.


That said, we will never ask guests or horses to ride in unsafe or miserable conditions.

  • If we determine conditions are unsafe or unreasonably unpleasant, we will cancel the ride.
  • Weather calls are usually made as close to ride time as possible, once we can accurately assess conditions.
  • If we cancel due to weather, you will receive a full refund.

Ranch stay policies

Cancellations

  • Cancel 30 days or more before check-in and you’ll receive a full refund.
  • Cancel between 7 and 30 days before check-in and you’ll receive a 50% refund.
  • Cancel less than 7 days before check-in and you will not receive a refund.


If a Ranch Stay includes a horseback ride that must be canceled due to unsafe weather, the horseback portion will be refunded while the lodging portion remains subject to the stay cancellation terms above.
